Payman Sadeghi, MD, is a 2000-graduate of Universidad Catolica Nordestana in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. His postgraduate training includes his clinical rotation at the University of Montreal and McGill University in Canada (2000-2001), as well as his neurology residency performed at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (2001-2005). He is fellowship trained in electromyography as well as epilepsy and neuroimaging. Dr. Best completed his undergraduate education with a focus on biochemistry at the University of Ottawa in Canada. He attained board certification in neurology with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the American Headache Society, the National Headache Foundation, the Texas Neurological Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Society of Neuroimaging, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine.
